We're Good to Go is the UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark, in partnership with the national tourism organisations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This mark means businesses across the sector can demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and check they have the required processes in place. For walking tours, this includes limiting the number of participants on each tour in line with the latest government recommended number of persons allowed in a social gathering. This number may well change from time to time. Your guide will also avoid shaking hands or making any other physical contact with clients at all and, when speaking, will maintain the recommended social distancing. If you develop any symptoms of Covid-19 (high temperature, persistent cough, loss of taste and/or smell) then please do not take the tour. Likewise, if the guide develops any symptoms of Covid-19 prior to the tour, it will be cancelled the tour and you will be contacted and offered the option of an alternative date or a full refund.
ALL ABOUT ME
I started out doing tours of central London by bike for London Bicycle Tour Company and then began leading Harry Potter and Mary Poppins Tours for Brit Movie Tours. After qualifying as a City of Westminster Tour Guide, I began developing my own tours. Many focus on themes that are rather unique and niche; hence the name Obscure Tours! Why do the same old, same old when you look at something from a different perspective? The tours can be booked for private groups traveling with their own coach or as walking tours and are available in English or German.
